Trey+Shelby – Wedding I.

Trey and Shelby were married in front of their family and friends in Trey’s family’s church, where his father officiated, on a beautiful (rainy) spring day.

T+S – It was an honor to photograph your wedding day. Truly. Thank you so much for sharing your moments with SuperAssistant Terry and me. XOXO.

Trey and Shelby’s engagements are here. Be sure to check back for Part II – The Reception!

Preslee. One Year.

Sweet baby Preslee is one whole year old! I met this adorable little girl and her folks at Rodney and Courtney’s wedding (Preslee’s mama is Rodney’s sister).

To celebrate, we ran around a Burleson park and grabbed some family shots and some shots for Preslee’s invitations! She is such a loved little girl.

L+K – Thank you so much for having me photograph your daughter!! XO!

Rodney+Courtney – Wedding II

Part I is here.

– XOXO.

Courtney and Rodney’s most memorable moment:
Courtney: When Rodney couldn’t get through the vows! It just showed me how much he cared and how much they meant to him! Rocked my world!
Rodney: When Courtney first walked into the room at the beginning of the ceremony and Canon in D began playing. She looked so beautiful, her dress was beautiful, and I could not have been happier.

Favorite detail:
Courtney: When we shared our gifts before the wedding and I got to read his card and hold his hand before we got married. It was so comforting to know he was ready to get married and so reassuring to read how he felt about me.
Rodney: Our first dance as husband and wife. I didn’t notice anything but her as we danced. I was so happy that we were in that moment and the song Heavenly Day was a perfect fit.

Funniest moment:
Courtney: When the unity candle wouldn’t light! The whole thing was a disaster and Rodney was determined to try to get that thing to light….and it just didn’t happen! Too much wax!
Rodney: Same as Courtney. The unity candle

If you could do it over, would you change anything?
Courtney: I wouldn’t change a thing! It was perfect and so laid back. I was so thankful that all our close friends and family could make it!
Rodney: I could not have been happier with the entire wedding. I think it was perfect and would not have changed a thing either.

Advice for couples getting married:
Courtney: Just try to relax and not rush it! All I could think about was-I just want to marry the guy already! And it flies by-so enjoy the whole day!
Rodney: Soak up every moment. It will go by so fast. Don’t rush through it. Also, as far as prepping for the day, no matter what happens, everything will work out. And in the end you still get to marry your bride!

Where did you honeymoon?
Courtney: We will be heading to Colorado in March for a delayed honeymoon and babymoon!

Rodney+Courtney – Wedding I

Rodney and Courtney were married in front of their family and friends at the gorgeous Inn on Lake Granbury. The whole day was full of love…and I can’t thank Courtney and Rodney (and their families and friends) enough for being so completely and totally wonderful.

Special note to Courtney, Rodney, and their families and friends: I already miss you guys.

Trey+Shelby – Engagements

I adore these folks – can’t wait for their wedding in March! I was fortunate enough to meet Shelby and her daughter, Mackenzie, at Shelby’s sister’s wedding where Shelby caught the bouquet – so, when Trey and Shelby got engaged, I jumped at the opportunity to photograph their wedding.

T+S – Looking forward to your wedding, guys – happy planning! Give sweet baby Mackenzie a high five for me! XO!
